This Privacy Policy applies to PaleoLine (BioGraph — 古生物漫游图谱), the mobile application published by Yang Rui.

1. Data We Collect
We collect the following data to provide core app functionality:
- Advertising ID — used by Google AdMob to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device's Settings → Google → Ads.
- Search queries — species names you search are transmitted to the Wikipedia API (wikipedia.org) to retrieve encyclopedia summaries and images. These queries are sent directly from your device; we do not log or store them.
- Account data — if you choose to create an account and log in, we collect the username you provide and the knowledge graphs you create and publish. You can delete your account and associated data at any time via the app settings.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your precise location (GPS).
- We do not access your contacts, messages, photos, or microphone.
- We do not collect device fingerprints, installed app lists, or browsing history.
3. Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob — displays advertisements. AdMob may collect device information and Advertising ID. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Wikipedia API — species search requests are sent to wikipedia.org to fetch summaries and images. See Wikimedia's Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage & Security
App preferences (language, saved graphs) are stored locally on your device. Account data is stored on our servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
